A New Day 2010
Well, one might be optimistic as the year turns. We had a great holiday season. We actually had an offer on a house accepted...and well... just read the rest.
We flew to Arizona and dang... it was so much fun. We had a great time with Jada and Shammai over Christmas. We hiked, we cooked, we ate... We then spent New Years with the Johnsons, watching 24 till all hours of the morning. It was great.
We spent lots of great time with Shammai. It's great to be with him again. I missed him so much.
While here we were on a mission to find a house to actually live in. Jada had effectively taken over the condo, (I've been on the couch since we arrived, which is just as well I am sure. I've been sick as a dog). So we had to find a place of our own. We did and it's so exciting. Shammai has his room picked out already! And his play room! So, if the rest of the grandkids stand a chance, I recommend you come visit. Soon. I miss you.
And take a look at the Johnson's all smug with their Max. Do they look like proud grandparents or what? Happy is a good word.
Well... ok. Now that it's 2010... I have started my New Year's Resolutions:
1) Delete unecessary emails.
2) Consume Less.
3) Smile More.
4) Worry Less.

A good Christmas was had by all. I was glad to spend it with Jada and Shammai. We did have fun at the Johnson's. Shammai, Ed and I snoozed out one afternoon in eddy's motor home. It is quiet and dark in there. It took me three days to recover from the series 24 marathon. I am really glad that we have people like Keiffer Sutherland who are willing to torture criminals to keep us all safe. Then I woke up after a three day coma and realized that we have morons in the white house and nobody wants to torture nobody.
Now I can't sleep again.
