A Visit with Grandma Ethel from the Beautiful Manitoba Girls

Cherie and I went to North Dakota to spend time with the relatives.

Dorothy, Grandma Ethel...even

went to the cemetary where Grandma Clara is buried.

We had a great time together, catching up, driving on dirt roads in spite of the warning to not drive the Corvette on gravel. Well, there are nothing but dirt roads in ND, so that was kind of harsh. We saw and spent time with Grandma three different times, and enjoyed her greatly. We had lunch at Dorothy's...and even went off for a 2mile jog in the windy ND farm land among the yellow covered canolla and blue flowered flax fields.

We enjoyed the Toasted Frog and Catfish days...we were even hit on by a few drunken wedding guests at our hotel. Just like the old days...quite funny...in a final hurrah, the dejected, liquored up soul said he thought we were beautiful and that Manitoba has so many beautiful women...we said thanks.
