Ok...let's move on from that!

I have spent about 5 days here with the Stewarts. It's been delightful.
I brought Ava to her first day of pre school....had to buy her a few outfits... sparkling flutterbies and all...

Each day I picked Gabe up at school and he wanted me to show off the convertible to his friends and a GIRL friend...emphasis on friend. So we drove along and went actually out of our way to find the girl. We drove around the block and I slowed way down... Gabe was hollering her name...my sharp black convertible...yelling at a young girl on her way home from school. She would not make eye contact... her pace increased... SO NOT COOL> I had flashbacks of the time in Brandon...the sheriffs, the outraged parents...the "damn that was stupid" feeling. Gabe says...."I don't think that was her." Not helpful. I fully expect squad cars at the school tomorrow as I drop Gabe off at school.

We made brownies, played Barbies, watched Never Ending Story, played bokugan, pokemon, eukegon and chaotic. We shopped for school clothes, new Chaotic cards and well just had one heck of a time. I ate too much too... Lasha cooks comfort foods, which I gave up long ago...lots of cheese, potatoes, steaks, fried chicken, and...well dang... brownies.

But, each time I come here, it's I know more fun for me than them. By the way, Lasha is as I have suspected all along "Superwoman." She is. It's true. She is more organized than anyone I know. She says she has to for her sanity, but seriously... she runs one tight ship. Clean kitchen, kids clothes laid out at night, home made supper, brownies for her co workers...parent orientation...Bible studies...crafts, house decorating landscaping. One can only take so much. I'm coming home where one can rest, guilt free.

I am going to miss Lasha and the kids...Percy not so much.

Joe calls all the time... by the way...he is tortured being away from his family...
