Summer with the Hastings
So, here we are with GG and Emi as the nanny vacations. These girls are just wonderful and fun to be around. They are very well behaved, so I think their parents sat them down for a talk before we arrived.
Such different personalities. GG is very much the big sister, while Emi tries to best her on everything. She's always honing in! GG just puts up with it most of the time. This morning, Papa says Emi gave GG a hug and kiss while she lay on the couch then she looked straight at her and pinched her nose and giggled. Can't help but laugh along. Enjoy the video.
Also, we went to dinner at Redmond town center a few days ago and afterwards, around 8 p.m. we started wandering in and out of the shops. We approached one that still had the door open and we of course walked in to browse. The clerk-jerk walked toward us and said, not "may I help you,: but... "we're closed."
We (Naarah and I) of course took those as fightin' words and said, well why is your door open then? Well, she said it's after 8...so we stormed off all P.O.'d, as well as any would. Naarah stayed behind to have continue the altercation, take names and kick some a--. I wandered off into another store that seemed more welcoming... the greeting? "We're closed."
I said, you've got to be kidding, you really don't want me to buy anything? She back peddaled nicely and said, oh, no... stay as long as you need I just wanted you to know we close at 8. I said, well, you should close your door at 8 then, so no one will bother you since you're closed. And...by the way...is that how you greet all your potential customers with the time you close?
She probably won't do that ever again, but I still didn't feel like bothering her, or any of them with buying their clothes so I left.
