Name the Owl.

Who knew we'd have such wild life in off our balcony in Scottsdale? Bobcats, coyote, rabbit...Javalena... and now a Great Horned Owl.
Well, there she was in all her glory. This species nests this time of year and is no doubt doing that. Not in our tree, but definitely close by.
The True Wise One:
I spend time with Grandma Ethel the last few days. She lights up with joy to have company. She's lonely. She's 96 in April. She is talkative and social when I am there. Much different than the Grandma who was overshadowed by overbearing men in her life. I bought her a replacement plant, bulbs that are supposed to flower beautifully before spring if she doesn't kill them by overwatering. One plant was bulbs in rocks in a clear glass vase, that she can see if there's enought water. This one the woman at the nursery said she should put some whiskey in the water... whiskey... it intrigued Grandma and she will try it.
She gave me a scare and got sick last night. I saw her sitting on the edge of her bed... eradic breathing... I thought she was dying. It may have been the flu. Lucky for us she's still with us. I am happy to still have my Grandma... who gets this?
Anyway, let's all remember her in our prayers.

I think the owl is a male. Look at those eyes. They wanta kill something. If you doubt me just check unders his feathers if you can. I am glad that you can and do see your grandma from time to time. It is great to hear that she still takes care of herself at 95 yrs old. wow
I beg to differ on the gender of the owl. They are the eyes of a female. She wants to kill someone.
It was good you were there for Grandma Ethel mom!
