Trip To La Jolla
I am in Arizona trying to cook up a little business. And it is uber hot here...116 last weekend. And that by the way is a dry heat. Like Heck. Anyway...I called Janet Sullivan and wanted to know if she wanted to get out of dodge. I had imagined a few hour trip to the mountains... PineTop was mentioned...cool mountain air. She said let's go to La jolla. Six hour drive... ocean cooler weather. I said...OK.
We spent two nights near the ocean...We left the windows open for the cool night ocean breeze...and heard lots of traffic, the car wash next door and crows.
But the breeze was nice.
We walked a lot, sat by the ocean and did a kayak trip to look at the caves...which was a farce, because we were tethered to the guide all the while and had to listen to their prattling on and on about much of nothing.
Funniest Moment? We were dancing Saturday night downtown and having just a ball...and we were on our second dance really shaking a leg and a girl comes up to me and taps me on the shoulder..."ah... this is a private party!"
Well alrighty then...dancing done we bid them our leave and left. FUNNY! They might have mentioned it the first dance! Who Knew.
Fun weekend. Enjoyed the ocean... will go there again.
