Lasha's Kids...

Well, here I am in Liberty MO, spending the days with Lasha and Joe's kids. I brought Shammai with and we are all enjoying the time together. It's been fun watching their personalities, how the boys are maturing in their relationship. And Ava, she is really amazing. Her personality is so outgoing, she wins the hearts of everyone around her. She's very intuitive and relational. She's always concerned about those around her and is really so eager to please. She likes to argue and talk back, also. But, I corrected her in one instance and gave her another way to respond and she caught herself the next time and resonded respectfully. So cool to see her react to that. Her intensity is such a treasure, it will be so great to see what develops. She loves to color and read and watch movies. She just lives life so fully I love watching her go about her day.
Joe and I took the kids on Sunday to the Royals game... What a gas. They lost...very sloooooooowwwwwlllllllllyyyyyyyyy... but the highlight was seeing the boys eat hot dogs, sing the national anthem and "Take me out to the ballgame" and Ava win over two old farts in the seats ahead of us. They just loved her and she responded in kind.
I've been cooking a lot, cleaning, doing laundry and doing lots of work also. It's a good thing these kids are such great kids...really... they are so considerate and kind. It warms my heart. Lasha has emailed a few times... I am posting these photos for her in hopes she has access to see her kids in action.
The photo of me tied up didn't take, the closet was too dark. Percy untied me.

Good to see pics of the kids playing and having fun. The baseball pic of Gabe and Shammai looks cool.
