So Far So Good.

Actually, Emirie found the spot. She's tiny enough to get in about anywhere she shouldn't. She crawled under the chair and thought she was pretty smart... GG thought so too and followed her there. Before you know it, I had found my babysitter. A little duck tape and I'm in bidness.
I digress...
I drove Jason and Naarah to the airport at 6 this morning. I thought there would be maybe one last phone call with harried instructions. No. Nothing. I was on my own. The envelope with directions to the emergency room would have to do. And, well, there is Brenda so I'm not really alone.
GG gets up at around 8 and wants to watch a movie first thing. She gets to, of course and what are her choices? My first morning here she wanted to watch School of Rock with Jack Black. The second day? Game Day. Later in the day? Mary Poppins, of which I am proud to say she and Emirie both sing along periodically.

So, like I said, So far so good. Even the cat doesn't seem to hate me.
Naarah kindly bribed her friends to play with me Saturday night... So I get to entertain Aydon and her husband and if I can get my act together to invite ML, I will. Looking forward to it, we will watch a movie and have dinner. Should be fun. It's fun getting to know the girls, GG is a very sweet and smart child, just like her parents have been saying all along. Seriously, she makes jokes and has the concentration to watch a full length movie at 2 year old. Very impressed. She also isn't bratty, but very easy to reason with. She's truly a doll.
