Mary and Me Dinner and a Movie

Here's Mary In My Kitchen.

We had a girls night in, in the middle of the week, drinking wine, making dinner. We had a great salad, guacamole, rice and beans and Rib Eye. It was a Wednesday night...very naughty. We listened to Eric Clapton's music DVD on the TV while I prepared to grill. I asked her if I could use the George Foreman as it was about 20 below...Mary looked at me with those beautiful big brown eyes of hers and said, use the grill outside...smile, that's a nice steak. So, grill outside I did. It took extra ordinarily long to heat up, but finally we had a grilled steak. I charred one side but on balance it turned out medium rare. We watched Something To Talk About, the perfect girls night in movie. We laughed and teared up once or twice. It was a delightful night... with my friend. This will have to be a weekly event. I love Mary!
