Another milestone

When is it all going to stop! The changes... Not a fan.

Ok, tonight I dropped my MARKETING MBA class. I went down fighting though. How ironic that the class that I sing the swan song on is marketing... happens to be the class I could teach, but my first class was inspiring. And I say goodbye with sadness.

I struggled with taking it. Jobless and all..., but the final straw was learning that I had actually missed the first class. What a first class moron (no pun intended). Seriously...who does that? Well, right, not that I actually don't have enough going on in my life... but I thought I read somewhere my class started...well tonight. WRONG! So I actually was behind two classes, cause it turned out we had an assignment for the first class. Then... I casually mentioned that I would be missing one more...well... the professor grimaced in ways I thought actually might be humanly impossible. I think I actually caused him physical pain.

Well, so as I had originally struggled if I really needed to add one more stressor to my life, I felt like God said, well go ahead, you're going to do it anyway. (Was that God or my inner critic? not sure sometimes) So I went ahead and registered and was so glad. Then I learned all this and decided...enough. It's ok to let go of things/dreams/etc...You're becoming a pro at it!

So I am actually releived. I didn't need the stress and worry and added work taking me away from my current priorities. I will instead read marketing books and start a business. I will write stories. Part of my life in 3D; the Business, the Non profit and writing. There you have it. I look forward to seeing the grandkids, moving ahead in the business and spending time with Dennis and in Arizona. I'm getting a life... And I will have peace doing it!
