Last Day Of Summer
Just As Fall Turned, Summer Refused To Leave.The weekend:
Saturday was hot, 80+. I turned the pool up anticipating a swim. Most of the day was spent doing nothing... homework... housework. Whatever. Later, I rode my bike for about an hour or more last night. I rode up River Road, the leaves turning, the river blue and the skies were purple. What a view.
Sunday: Unseasonably warm weather brought us a nice late swim in the pool. Most likely our last of the summer. We heated the water to almost 90 degrees and at about 6 p.m. we went for a swim.
Nice.
Right after we came in the house to prepare supper, there was a downpour. A cold front is pushing through. It's raining hard, lightening and thundering. Delightful. Tomorrow will bring cooler weather.

you always make me laugh. I know. but you know i don't like talking about my flair.
It was a great day outside and swimming in the evening was iceing on the cake.
