Passed, but not road worthy.
Saturday: The first day of motorcycle safety class was invigorating, exciting even. There were two classes of about 12 and another class in the afternoon. Seems as if lots of people want to ride safely. It went well. We had Honda and Suzuki 250s mostly. We did a lot of practice turns and swerving, shifting gears up and down. Tricky stuff actually. The swerves were all at slow speeds which makes them even more difficult. Overall it was fun. We have another full morning of it and then the exam the last hour. If all goes well, I should be licensed by 1 p.m. today.
Sunday: The last day was exhausting. Was I over tired? Getting ill? What? I couldn't think. It was like my brain was in slow motion. If I felt that way any other day, I would NOT drive a motorcycle.
But alas, it was test day. We drove a U turn in a small 10x 20 area, accelerated on a curve and stopped fast. I was docked on all exercises and came out passing but just barely.
It was good and message that I am not road worthy yet. I have a long way to go. But need time under the seat to improve. That part is over at least.
