I need gas.
Oh, by the way... did I tell you that Grandpa Norm wants to buy a helicopter??? He brought it over and landed it in the field this morning. What a gas. Dad and I had a ride in it today and decided we both really need to know how to fly it. So, that seems to be the next adventure. But, I am taking it one at at time. We got a photo of the house though...
I've driven up and down the driveway, into Wagners, down the street around the neighborhoods. Now the bike is on empty and I need to make my first trip to the gas station with the hog.I put the license plate on it and it is 95286 ME. Perfect! Especially the ME part! :-) Oh the adventures.
I did just that. I made my way to the gas station and back without incident. Did however learn that managing downshifting, throttle and brake have to work side by side with looking both ways at intersections. I have to stop, look and then when it's clear make my move. Sounds obvious, but with all the thinking going into being mobile...I didn't take the time I should have to look both ways. No incidents, just aware that I didn't do a good job.
My test in next week. Glad I looked at material, I actually have homework to do for class.

This was my only 2nd helo ride. I had fun. We were gone maybe 20 min. We went up north to two rivers park on the Mississippi.Man can you see stuff from 1000 ft up. taking off and landing are fun. I gotta get me one of these.

This is a great pic of the homestead! I am so excited to visit. Only 19 days left until I arrive. Please make sure G. Norm buys that helo before I arrive;) Oh, that is the same helo that ML's boyfriend flies for a living.
