The latest Hastings has arrived.

First of all, GG. This girl makes me giggle just thinking about her. She's in bed right now (thank God), so I have a few moments to reflect on our day today. I was tired by 6! She isn't that active, but she demands interaction. She wants to communicate. Thursday, Emirie's day to arrive, GG was up at 7 ish, fine as I was up at 4:30 for some reason. She is a delight. She interacts intensley with adults, she tries to entertain. She has these plans in her head and she tries so hard to communcate them. She wanted to sit in the desk chair, an adult chair, not a childs chair and drink water from a glass, not a sippy cup. She wanted the water in a cup and the chair next to the table so she could set it there whenever she wanted. This girl, she is already at 18 months trying to be adult. wow. She drew me into the dining room and wanted me to sit at the dining table with her. She was happy as could be with this make believe. She likes to sit in her high chair for a snack and loves watching Elmo.
She does however get tired and just like Shammai, she gets crazy if she's tired. So, I put her to bed early. She had a long day. She met her sister Emirie and well, she liked to block it.
Ya Ya means I am thirsty, or water. She says shoes, outside, cheese, apple, etc. etc...
She's starting to talk a lot, which is not surprising.
It's great being here to share this with the hasting family. By the way, Emirie looks a lot like Jason's brother Matt. Seriously, with curly blackish hair. She's a beautiful girl.
I sincerely hope you all get a chance to know GG this summer. She's a gas.
It's a thrill to get to know GG and of course to meet Emirie, also. She really is a delightful girl.

Hey!! Love the pics. Tell Naarah I say hello and am so excited for her. I am going to stop by the hospital tomorrow on my way home from work, around 3:30pm I will be there, so maybe I will see you? :-)
Take Care, ML
Another good blog. It is great that you are and can spend quality time with GG. I did not do as well as you when I was there last. It was not bad but I was not paying that much attention to GG as you are. Good going. Great photos.
Jason said GG had a very hard time seeing Jama leave. She cried all the way to th store. When I asked her if Jama went bye, bye she got real pouty and shook her head no.
That was nice to hear that she remembered you... even if she did not exactly know who you were - she obviously does not skip a beat socially - she probably just picked up on all the body language between her parents and you!
