9th Day Of Christmas

Well, we have a tree. I thought of not putting one up, just sneaking one from the bank lobby for a few hours. Decided I'd miss that happy look on Shammai's face if I did. Had Zion, Jada and Shammai help decorate. I have lots of bulbs clustered three feet from the ground in the front of the tree. Perfect.

I can't believe it's Christmas. What happened to 2006? Well, let me recap. It was a whirlwind year. The year started with everyone home for the holidays. We had Joel call on New Years (was that really just this January?) while lots of the Hansons were at the house, he wanted Dennis so he could ask if he could marry Adriel. That's how our year started and we looked forward to the wedding the rest of the year. That would have been a lot for someone of lesser energy. I spent the summer with a water hose making sure the pink flowers I planted didn't die by Aug. 11. We had a great time at her wedding and subsequent celebrations. Whole family came and we loved it. That was only one event. GG and Ava had their first birthdays, of which I attended. Also made it to Gabe's 6th. I traveled to Atlanta in April and December and Seattle in November. I also traveled to Utopia Texas for Cowgirl U in May, went to Arizona with new friend Emily for a week. I competed at shows with my horse this year and won first place in my class a few times. I traveled to Arizona about three times for work, I attended payments conference, our team won first place in prestigeous bank marketing competition for our Annual Report. I took two MBA classes, got nice grades in both. Sent in a short story for a contest. Built my own website for my trip to Ayacucho in January.
What have I missed? We started dancing lessons, too.
Did I mention the dogs ran off last night to some kind of Dog Party... much akin to the Go Dog Go story Shammai liked. They didn't come home till 5 in the morning. Teenage German Shepherds. I had visions of having to explain why I lost the dogs.
Went Christmas shopping this evening with Linda and we ate out at a great restaurant at 50th and France. Great food... amazing. Had a great night. The dogs stink.

You go mother- dear!
I think you definitely do not do much in one year. Maybe you need to start of loftier goals...:)j/k
I saw that doggie- party. The Wagner's dog was invited too- just too distusting to say much for. But yes, they stunk big time!
