Two Days and five hours
Nebraska has a huge thing over the highway... some pioneer tribute.

Colorado wins as most beautiful state in the Nation

It's amazing how hard it is to take a photo while driving. There are many mishits.
It was two and a half long days of driving, but I made it on my trip to Scottsdale, via a night with Lisa in Colorado. Got to see Ian and Aaron and Neal. Bought two of Aaron's paintings... He's really good. My taste in art lacks much, but I liked what I saw so I bought... Ian will be sending a photo of his girlfriend... Ezra didn't come home. Neal bar b qued steaks. We ate well.
Don't want to not mention my stop in West Desmoines. I recommend it highly. Stayed at Country Inn and Suites with an authentic Mexican restaurant next door. Bland food just like real Mexican with real Mexican's cooking, serving etc...
I ordered Quesedias... got a burrito and chips. What the... Was good tho.
I am watching Under the Tuscun Sun in our place in Scottsdale. Dad turned the cable off so I have no choice. One of my favs.
Do you want to hear about this trip? Wow. I drove and drove, spent more on gas for the vet than it would have cost to fly. But, seeing the states from the ground is a good thing. The most beautiful place on earth is Colorado. It's breathtaking...
I could have a place there. With mountain views and hiking trails nearby. Maybe some day.
So... I listened to Snow patrol, Anya Marina is my most favorite today in Miss Halfway.
Dave Matthews live at the gorge in Washington State also a fav.
I wanted to pull over in New Mexico as the rains rolled in over the mountains. That wasn't the first time that has happened and I've not been there that much. Tumultuous weather coming in over the mountains. Amazingly beautiful.
Did I mention that New Mexico's Richardson has to be the worst governor in the nation. He allows terrible construction projects that stop traffic needlessly for hours. I sat at a standstill for at least 40 minutes... I was not happy.
Later when I finally made it to Arizona, I drove the mountain roads at 80 miles per hour after dark. People still wanted me to go faster. What the... But I moved lanes instead. Amazing focus it takes to color and drive inside the lines. I am just glad everyone else watches out for me as I have a tendency to weave in and out without notice.
It felt so great to finally be here. But wow... lonely. Where was Adriel? What could be keeping her from showing up? The gates were stuck open when I got here... great security.
Oh Well... That's life. It's about 10:30 Zona time. I checked my emails, nothing urgent. I am sleeping in.
Tired. Good night.
