My Dilemna
This is a real problem. My German Shepherd wants to kill my favorite pet species: CATS.
I really want a cat. I will take any cat. My dear friend Tricia Bailey, who I love and respect forbids me to have another cat. More specifically... she forbids me to tell her if I get a cat and it dies because of my dog.
She loves cats.
Well, so now what? I really love cats. I want one. They are low maintenance. They love unconditionally. They purr and knead body parts... it's really wonderful to own a cat. Well...most often anyway.
So, what do I do? Please tell me all my faithful readers and commentators...newby daughters? Should I get a cat? I promise to keep the garage door shut and work hard at not letting it outside. I will even work at introducing my dog to the new family member...
I really will. Please advise...Catwoman... at your service...

Do not get a cat. They devalue your lovely home. Pay attention to your dog... His name is King- rememeber?
Besides you might come home to find your cat belly up in the pool. Fences dont keep out felines.:)
I say No to the cat. Cats and Dogs just don't mix. when we got our dog when I was in second grade my cat had a nervous breakdown and one fateful Saturday my Grandma took my brother and I to a parade while my parents took my cat to a "farm."
I say love the one your with..that being King.
I say get a cat. Even if it is cute and cuddly for a brief moment before dying at the jaws of King, you had a brief moment of unconditonal love. Or, get rid of King. He sux anyways.
don't get a cat. They piss all over the place and make your place smell bad and people who hate cats then hate your house. Plus cats lick the butter.
