Horsing around: Blue Ribbons One and All...

Ok. So it took me more than five years to get the confidence and really the ability to go to my first competitions. You really should have been there. I had so much fun. I took first place and was told tonight should have won reserve Grand Champion for second highest score of the day.

Very fun. My first test was 63% and my second was a miserable failure... errors, brain farts and mistakes from start to finish... but the great part was I had a joyful heart, no fear and was enjoying every failing minute. Seemed as if my horse is a natural. She does better in the show ring than in practice, as if she is having great fun showing off her talent.

The judges come out of the judges stand every time to compliment the movement of my fine animal. Makes me more excited to prepare for next year's competitions...
