Brown beans in my black stalletos
Most of the grandkids are here. Ava, Gabe and Shammai (GG is MIA). Having kids running around... yapping, praddling, making grown ups crazy brings a sense of peace to my heart. I did find brown beans in my shoe. There are little boy briefs laying everywhere--quick changes into swimming trunks. Lots of running, little feet pitter pattering along the wood floors, the cement around the pool. Little boys peeing in unison on the grass competing for stream distance.
I love to watch baby Ava make her way around the house like she owns the place. She sees so at home here. Like she remembers it. She might remember who knows. She stays close and plays with whatever is in front of her. She pulls silverware out of the dishwasher... gabblegabble gabble. Speaks her own gibberish. She will be talker. Lasha delights in them both it's clear. Shammai is a bit jealous, new kids on his turf. He competes fo attention, acting out more than I've ever seen.
I enjoy watching these new human beings develop into adults. They are so curious and adventurous. Such sponges learning all they can.
Love it.

True story. It is nice to have all the little midgets around the house
Liek Ava walks. More like Ava "hobbles."
