Day Two

Yesterday, as I saw the San Fransisco mountains outside of Flagstaff in my rear view mirror. Tried to take a few shots....great views driving fast up the passes to Sedona too... Was up at 5:14 a.m., so thought I might as well get up, make coffee, shower and hit the road. Did just that.
Stopped at Albertson's for a Starbucks and the kind lady let

Well, he said he too has been looking at them, that or some car known by a grouping of numbers. I said I wanted a BMW convertable he said he's researching both. I encouraged him to buy one... offered ours for a nice little profit... but he thought better of it. Not really. Then I asked if he wanted to marry me... he said no.
Then I left him in a huff and drove really fast to Oklahoma City.
Got there at about 10 in a.m. or so. Went to the hospital where Adriel is having her procedure. I bought her some great jammies when I was in Scottsdale. She needed to have something new to walk around in... She looks awesome. If she let's me I will take a photo.
TESTY.
The day was filled with tests, tests and more tests. EKG, blood work, xrays, etc. etc. etc.
Also a procedure I can't pronounce. She was put out with happy juice and they strung a scope down her throat to get a look at the outside of her heart from the inside.. Getting a look at that ole muscle...the heart. Doctor Goyle came in at about 8:30 p.m. (who ways drs don't earn every dime?) She asked Adriel all kinds of questions, explained the risks of the procedure and had her sign consent. Some risks? A pacemaker... very slim. only if doctors mess with valve that makes her heart beat. Clots: also slim they give drugs while she's under to prevent that.
Infections from going in to groin area.
Really, not many risks except the catastrophic. They seem very confident.
They will probaby use any tool they have to STOP the Tachachardia.
What to expect tomorrow?
Go in at 6 start prepping. The picture painted was that this team of experts bring in their starbucks begins to study, read, dig, etc. Then they get to work studying the patient, talking, studying, deliberating, acting... etc. It's a team effort and they are all engaged in the process.
They expect her to not have tachycardia when they are done for the day. Could take 8-12 hours. I will hunker down...stay vigilant on watch.
Pray for her safety, doctor's success.
Will spend lots of time mapping to identify the extra pathway.
Doug and Linda and Josh were driving through to go to Adam's graduation and stopped to see Adriel. What a treat for her. They are so special to Adriel and that was above and beyond a blessing. We went to have lunch in downtown OK City, great spot, Nonna's. Ate outside.
The staff by the way if wonderful. The first contact was with a man with an earring. He was in late 40s or so, late teen son. He was so helpful. Sat with Adriel for about an hour just talking, helping her be at ease. Talked about his missions work he does yearly. Spent lots of time. Very helpful. Set us at ease. Tomorrow is the big day. Adriel is a bit scared. Joel called today. Sarah Deem, Dara... Adria... Who knows who else as I was out for part of day.
Pray for her.
