Leaving On A Jet Plane

Well. That went about as well as one could dream.
I travelled here on th 11th, unsure of the timing of Naarah's delivery. I debated up until the last day whether or not to take the flight. Once I decided to go, however, I knew it was the right decision. You can read her blog at pregowithgg.blogger.com to learn more. I changed my ticket from 19th today the 26th without hassle.
I got lots of work done while away, working actually very long hours on daily work, but annual report work as well as a strategic planning meeting that went late. Felt productive, relaxed and refreshed.
I was able to take lots of great week old baby shots for memories.
Well, today I am leaving, Jason dropped me off at the airport, perfect timing, one hour before flight. The airpot is dead, I changed my seat to 18F.
I am so sad to leave. Jason and Naarah made me feel so needed and wanted. I think we are all surprised how well it went. There were a few rough spots, quickly forgotten as we enjoyed each other a lot. I hid out in my own little sanctuary whenever I felt the three of them needed space. I enjoyed the solitude. My second grandaughter by my first daughter is so gorgeous. We looked at Naarah's baby book today and it shocked Naarah to see the resemblence.
I love you Naarah, Jason and GG. Thanks for letting me share this great event with you. I was thrilled, blessed and honored.
