I have arrived in Seattle awaiting GG's arrival.

Photos are from my earlier visit for Naarah's shower.

I am here by invitation, awaiting the birth of our 4th grandchild. Our second grandaughter, the first child of our first child... What an honor to be here! I debated on coming early as her due date is the 15th. After much deliberation, I decided to go inspite of the possibility of being gone more than 2 weeks. But, who knows when GG will actually come. I feel good about being here.
I came in late Friday and the city scape of Seattle coming in over the port is the most beautiful I've ever seen. We went to eat at the Mandarin Garden to fully swell Naarah's ankles up as a nice end to her day.
Saturday a.m. we got up early and drove to Tully's, my favorite in gas station coffee house. We picked up the Turk, what Naarah lovingly calls her close friend from Turkey, Idon (sp?). She is a beautiful and fun young mom who just got a job with Naarah's help at an Art Gallery.
After coffee we went to visit Idon's husband Ercenk and their 3 year old son Bora who happen to live next door Naarah and Jason's previous home. They met as neighbors and have become great friends.
After a full day of shopping, walking Naarah around the mall until she became completely exhausted and swollen. We came home and napped and got up and dressed to go the opening of the win bar/art gallery of Naarah's friend.
That was the most wonderful time. Once again, Naarah's freinds were so wonderful. This gallery featured Israeli artists/architect Jossi http://www.fenomena.us . I had a Golan Heights Cabernet which was very good and we shared a cheese and meet platter. We all had a great time and one piece of art especially attracted my attention.
We attempted to watch a movie when we got home and all of us fell asleep.
No baby last night. Dreary Sleepy Sunday we went to breakfast at Big Time pizza... of all places, but beats any IHOP chain. Great day to just lay around, read and write this blog. No photos as no camera. Am having one shipped tomorrow.
I will add photos as I get them. I added old ones of Naarah's shower last month that Sandy and I were able to attend. Of which Naarah says are terrible. :-(
more another time...
